My photography journey
I decided to learn about photography so I could take great photos of my kids. After hiring professional photographers a few times to take annual photos of our family, I decided I wanted to learn how to take high quality photos of our family all year round. Once I started learning more about camera settings and editing, I became OBSESSED with photography. I started to ask friends, co-workers, and neighbors if I could take pictures of them to practice. Little did I know that taking photos of other people would turn into such a major "energy in" for me!

Working with me
I love getting to know clients and creating photos that show people's true personalities. I use a collaborative approach right from the beginning to ensure you end up with the type of images you are hoping for. Before your shoot, we will identify a location that fits your vibe and discuss colors and types of outfits that will look best in your images. During your shoot, I will give plenty of cues and prompts so you're not wondering "what should I do with my hands?" At the same time, feel free to suggest ideas if there are certain poses and shots you want to capture!​
If you are an adult client who wants a certain type of image for headshots, branding, etc., I will work with you to make sure your photos are exactly the look you're going for. My goal is for everyone to feel comfortable during the photo session and for you to LOVE your final images.
